Our Doctors:
Craig Evans, D.V.M.
Dr. Craig Evans became the owner of Adobe Animal Hospital on July 1, 2006. Please join us in congratulating him on his 2 year anniversary. Dr. Evans, a Santa Cruz County local, has been associated with Adobe Animal Hospital since high school and joined the team as a doctor in 1991. It had been a dream of his to one day own Adobe, and that dream has now become a reality. He and the other doctors all share the same commitment for quality care and service at a reasonable cost. This has always been the hallmark of Adobe Animal Hospital. As the new owner, Dr. Evans continues to strive for excellence in providing top quality treatment and products for both large and small animals.
Molly Tackabury, D.V.M.
Dr. Molly Tackabury graduated from UC Davis' School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She has a special interest in endocrinology and initiates and oversees the care of Adobe's diabetic patients. She loves to travel on her off time and is currently taking a night time class to become fluent in Spanish. She has a genuine love for animals and shares her home with "Bosco" her St. Bernard, "Bugg" her pitt bull mix rescue, and three high maintenance cats named "Mowgli", "Chloe" and "Chester". She looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends.
Kristin (Jaques) Wallace, BVSc
Dr. Kristen Jaques BVSc completed her veterinary degree in 2003 at Massey University of New Zealand, which is one of only 8 veterinary schools outside the US or Canada that is fully accredited by the A.V.M.A. Kristin spent a year working with Dr. Kessinger while earning her California License. She then became an associate at an equine clinic in Monterey. She is very pleased to be working back at Adobe in beautiful Santa Cruz. On her occasional day off you may find her at the beach or on a long bike ride. Her 2 year old Australian Shepherd, Oscar, is her constant companion and self-appointed guardian of the vet truck.
